The wonderful world of coffee is constantly evolving, with new blends and new drink varieties popping up the world over.
Below we have put together a list of some of the more popular and widely enjoyed coffee drinks, which our customers may find useful the next time they want to order something slightly different from their standard coffee order.
Ristretto A concentrated espresso shot of just 22ml

Espresso The next size up, this is a shot of coffee, approx. 30ml

Doppio A double shot of espresso – 60ml instead of 30ml
|
Piccolo A single espresso shot of 30ml topped up with steamed milk to make an 80ml drink
|
|
Americano A shot of espresso (30 ml) topped up with double the amount of water (60 ml)

Short Black Another name for an Espresso. 30ml espresso, no hot water.

Long Black Hot water with 30ml of espresso

Cappuccino Made with an espresso base. Equal parts espresso, steamed milk and foamed milk

|
Café Latte The café latte gets its name due to its large milk content. Made with an espresso base. Generally made with a 30 ml shot of espresso, 300 ml steamed milk and just 2ml foamed milk.

Flat White Similar to a café latte but without the foamed milk. Made with an espresso base. This drink requires an even mix of milk and smooth foam poured over a single or double shot of espresso

Short Macchiato A shot of espresso with just a dot of foamed milk

Long Macchiato A double shot of espresso with just a dot of foamed milk

Mocha A sweeter drink for those who like a little chocolate with their coffee.

Affogato This is a coffee-based dessert. It usually takes the form of a scoop of ice cream topped with a shot of hot espresso - delicious!

Frappe A mix of chilled coffee, cold milk and ice, often served with whipped cream
|
Irish Coffee This is a cocktail consisting of hot coffee, Irish whisky and sugar, stirred and topped with thick cream
