How many drinks do I need  drink to keep the Astro Coffee Machine "Free on loan vending machine"

You need to drink 500 drinks per month (25 drinks a day) which normally equates to purchasing $500 of consumables a month from us. This works out to be about  25 coffees/ hot chocolates  a day.

 Can I keep the coffee machine if I drink less?

Yes, by paying a rental of  $140 + GST per month - There is no ongoing contract and you can cancel anytime. 

Can I swap to a smaller machine if we can't maintain the volume?

Yes, there is no penalty or cost to swap - We are happy to keep you as a customer.

Can I swap to a larger machine if we outgrow our current coffee vending machine?

Yes, many of our customers operate  more than one of the Astro coffee machines or you can change to a higher volume machine.

What is the advantage of using a Lavazza Vending Machine rather than a normal bean to cup vending machine ?

The Lavazza machine is unique in that it uses a Lavazza coffee capsule which ensures every cup is always fresh. There is no oxidization of the beans which normally happens in bean to cup vending machines

Is this machine fully automatic?

Yes, - This is a one touch coffee solution. Press the button and you get your coffee, milk, sugar, stirrer and cup.

 What Size are the paper cups ?

The paper cups are 8oz (250mls) which is a standard coffee cup size

What if I do not want sugar?

When using the vending machine you can change the sugar dose from two tea spoons to no sugar at a press of a button

Can this machine sit on a bench?

No

Does this coffee machine froth milk automatically ?

Yes, The machine uses a 100% powdered skim milk .

Is the milk powder low fat 

The milk powder is uses a 100% powdered skim milk with no chemicals or additives. It is specially formulated to provide a great tasting drink  .
 
What drinks does the machine produce?

espresso, cafe latte, cappuccino, long black, macchiato, hot chocolate and chai tea.

Does the machine require plumbing?

Normally it is preferred but we can supply a tanking kit at an additional cost.

 Does the machine require special power?

This machine plugs into normal 10AMP power point

 Does the coffee vending machine take money?

Yes, if you wish to charge for drinks  the machine can be set to  accept a coin acceptor in the body of the machine or change giver in the base. It also accepts a  coinless payment system.

What is the dimensions of the  Coffee machine?

The size is 650W x 760D x 1830H

 What if the espresso machine stops working ?

We attempt initially to phone assist to rectify the problem, otherwise we send out a technician or send  a replacement swap machine immediately so as minimise the down time without a coffee machine

 

About Costs, Payment & Ordering

• Are there any other charges aside from the coffee and consumables?
  You only pay for the coffee you drink!
  There is no cost for servicing and maintenance the coffee machine / espresso machine.
   
• Is there a cost for freight?
  Freight is free of charge for orders over $120.00, so if you order 2 boxes (200 capsules) at a time there is no freight cost. One box (100 capsules) incurs a charge of $12.00
   
• Is there a contract?
  There is no ongoing contract. You need to sign the Terms & Conditions acknowledging the machine belongs to The Blue Pod Coffee Co.
   
• How do we order our first box of coffee?
  You are able to order online, by calling  phone 1800 800 255, faxing  1300 886 216 or by emailing us.
   
• Is it safe to order from your website?
  Our site is secured with a Geotrust QuickSSL certificate which ensures up 256 bit encryption thereby offering the highest level of encryption and security. Furthermore Nab Transact Payment Gateway facility ensures all credit card details are encrypted so it is safe and easy to use. Our staff cannot see your credit card details.
   
• Do you run accounts?
  In most instances we require payment prior to shipping our goods.
   
• Which credit cards do you accept?
  We accept all cards, however we charge a surcharge of 2.75% for Amex.
  Visa and Master Card are free of surcharge.
   
• Do you accept payment other than credit card?
  We accept BPAY, EFT and Cheques but these systems do delay the process by a day or two. However for online sign ups for EP MAXI and One Touch Barista we only accept credit cards.
   
• How quickly will we receive our order after payment?
  All orders which are placed and paid for by credit card prior to 2.30pm (Melbourne time) will normally be delivered by the following day in Capital cities.
   All orders paid for by BPAY, EFT or Cheque will take an extra day .

• How can I check on the progress of my order?
  We send you an email with shipping details when your order leaves our warehouse. This will allow you to track your delivery with the courier service.

• Do you offer any guarantee?
  We offer a money back guarantee for unopened coffee or coffee machines returned within 30 days of receipt. Call 1800 800 255 to arrange return of your product and we will refund you the price of the goods, (excluding cartage) provided the goods are returned in the same condition as they were sent. Please note a 15% admin and restocking fee applies.

A customer service representative will explain how to go about your return request, record all the necessary product return information and issue you with a Return Number (RN). The Customer Service Representative will also provide you address details of where to send your return.   No, we service your machine for free provided that you are still buying coffee from us.
